He holds a Law degree from the University of Costa Rica. He also holds a Master’s degree in Labor Law and Social Security from UNED, graduating with honors. He is a specialist in Notarial and Registry Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho, also graduating with honors.

He has been with the firm since 2008 and became a Partner in 2016.

As a Partner, he advises key clients in both the public and private sectors. He has also participated in discussions on various legislative initiatives and bills related to competitiveness and employment in Costa Rica. He has significant experience handling proceedings before the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) and collective bargaining processes, representing both private companies and public institutions.

He has served as a professor and coordinator of the Labor Law Program at the University of Costa Rica and as coordinator of the Labor Law Program at the School of Business Administration of the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. He currently serves as a professor in the Master’s Program in Labor Law and Social Security at UNED.
