A Bachelor of Laws graduate and Notary Public, she completed her studies with honors at the University of Costa Rica. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Labor Law and Social Security from the Graduate Studies System of the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED).

She has more than two decades of experience in the public sector through her work at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, where she held several senior positions, including Legal Advisor to the Legal Affairs Department; Head of the Department of International Affairs; and Legal Advisor to the Office of the Minister. For the last seven years of her public-service career, she additionally served as Director of the Legal Affairs Department within the same institution.

She is a certified conciliator with extensive experience in negotiations with labor unions—particularly in wage-bargaining and strike-related processes—as well as in the analysis, review, and advocacy of legislative bills concerning both public- and private-sector employment frameworks.

Her professional background has enabled her to develop comprehensive expertise in labor and administrative law.

Since August 2022, she has been part of our firm as a member of the Public Labor Law Practice.
